Fertilization and Soil Amendments

Some tree care companies have a "one size fits all" approach to feeding trees or shrubs. They simply advise fertilizing everything once or twice a year. This is a very antiquated way of thinking. We address specific deficiencies in the soil that are relative to your individual property. Often, a chemical soil analysis is recommended to ascertain exactly what your soil needs are.

Additionally, we tend to not rely on nitrogen as the basis for our soil amendments. Although nitrogen has is benefits, we believe it is vastly overused, and should be applied only when needed.

For this reason, we focus on an approach that uses bio-stimulant products and add the specific micro-nutrients that your soil requires. As a result, you will notice a healthier appearance and growth of your trees and shrubs. Root feeding also provides greater protection from insect and disease problems and increases drought tolerance.
